Corporate Social Responsibility

What is our corporate social responsibility policy?

Beaurepaires, a business division of Goodyear & Dunlop Tyres Australia, has a longstanding commitment to corporate responsibility. Through Goodyear & Dunlop Tyres Australia, we anticipate and respond to market trends, customer needs, supplier and partner capabilities and investor interests and are focusing on expanding corporate responsibility transparency in response to stakeholder requests. In 2018, Goodyear Better Future was launched, a corporate responsibility framework to enhance the existing governance of high-priority topics. The framework helps ensure corporate responsibility is integrated into all levels across the organisation, promotes communication and awareness and drives alignment with our corporate strategy and stakeholder priorities.

Beaurepaires and Mental Health

Beaurepaires is committed to the ongoing support of staff and creating an environment in which mental health discussion is encouraged and destigmatised. This involves continual improvement of mental health resources and a focus on supporting staff within our offices as well as those within our stores and sites.

Beaurepaires is proud to be partnering with organisations in various segments of society who are leading the charge in supporting mental health awareness and development. If you’d like to learn more about those partners, please read on below to learn more about who they are, how they support the community and how Beaurepaires is partnering with them.

Black Dog Institute

Beaurepaires is pleased to announce a corporate partnership with the Black Dog Institute – a global leader in mental health research. The partnership is designed to support Black Dog’s vision; To create a mentally healthier world. Beaurepaires will be partnering with Supercar Night Race later this year and using this as a platform to drive awareness of BDI’s mental health services and tools to the community.

1 in 5 of us will experience symptoms of mental illness in any given year. In Australia that’s around 5 million people. And roughly 60% of these people won’t seek help.

Black Dog Institute is the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan, with the aim to create a mentally healthier world for everyone.

They do this through ‘translational’ research, which involves the integration of research studies, education programs, digital tools and apps, clinical services, and public resources to discover new solutions, foster connections and create real-world change.

Black Dog’s partnerships with people with lived experience, federal, state and local governments, communities, schools, corporate Australia and others in the mental health sector enable them to drive evidence-informed change in mental health where it’s needed most.
