General information

  1. The Promoter is Goodyear & Dunlop Tyres (Aust) Pty Ltd (ABN 86 004 098 346) (trading as “Beaurepaires”) of Level 8, 333 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.

  2. Information on how to enter in the invitation email forms part of these Terms and Conditions.  Entry into the prize draw is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.  In the event of any inconsistency between any information on this promotion published elsewhere and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.  

Method of entry and duration of entry period


  1. Entry is only open to invited respondents of the October 2021 Beaurepaires Customer Experience Survey who:

    a. complete the survey in full; and

    b. provide a valid email address and phone number for contact purposes.

  1. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion.


  1. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.


  1. To be automatically included in the prize draw, those invited to complete the survey must do so via the link provided in the email invitation between 8:00am AEST on 26th October 2021 and 12:00am AEST on 23rd November 2021.  Respondents may opt out of being included in the prize draw by emailing Beaurepaires at beaurepaires@beaurepaires.com.au


  1. Single entry only permitted.


  1. Incomplete or indecipherable survey responses will be deemed invalid for entry into the prize draw.


Details of prizes and prize draw


  1. In the prize draw, ten (10) survey respondents will be randomly selected to receive one (1) gift card each, with a monetary value of $250 per gift card.  The total prize pool is $2,500.


  1. Winners will be identified through a random computer-generated draw conducted at 12:00pm on 26th November 2021 at Level 8, 333 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000


Notification of winners


  1. Winners will be notified by telephone or email and in writing.  The names of all major prize winners will be published on www.beaurepaires.com.au within 5 working days of conducting the prize draw.


  1. Winners must claim their prize and confirm contact details by return email within two (2) months of the date of notification.  Prizes will be delivered to winners within two (2) weeks of this confirmation.


  1. If any prizes remain unclaimed over two (2) months after notification, a further unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12:00pm on 18th February 2021 at Level 8, 333 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.  The same process of notification of winners will follow as set out above.


Other terms and conditions


  1. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.


  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any entrant or any other person including but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omissions, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or its contractors or its agents in connection with supply of the prizes awarded to the prize winners.


  1. The Promoter does not take responsibility for misdirected mail or mail received late and the Promoter will not be liable for any loss resulting from transit of prizes.


  1. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.


  1. The selection of winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.


  1. If the prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.  The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.


  1. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.


  1. A winner may be liable to declare a prize for tax purposes.  The Promoter takes no responsibility for any tax payable on a prize.  If any tax is payable on a prize it is the sole responsibility of the winner.  Independent financial advice should be sought.


  1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the prizes are lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way.


  1. The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at  https://goodyeardunloptyres.com.au/privacy/.  In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
