The countdown is on to this weekends Beaurepaires Tasmania SuperSprint!

The next round of the Supercars Championship is upon us, and it’s our very own Beaurepaires Tasmania SuperSprint at the historic Symmons Plains circuit located just outside of Launceston.

The race, originally scheduled for 10-11 April, was delayed in response to a COVID-19 outbreak in the Greater Brisbane. Border controls being imposed and local teams travel impacted, meant that scheduling the race to a new date was the only choice.

The race is now scheduled for 17-18 April at Symmons Plains. This will be the first time Supercars has raced there since 2019.

Symmons Plains in Tasmania is a unique track in that while it is relatively short in length it is a very challenging circuit. Turn 4 is a hairpin corner and the slowest corner of all the circuits visited by the Supercars Championship series. Look out for the turn this year, as it will be blanketed by Beaurepaires making it hard to miss by drivers and spectators alike.
